Home grown foods are tasty, and some have very pretty flowers too – like these purple bean flowers. This is the first year I’ve grown these and now I harvest more than half-a-kilo of delicious fresh purple beans every two days!

I grew those this year for the first time too, they were late to bloom but now they’re popping up all over the plants. They taste kinda like regular green beans, kinda weird.
They do! And they turn green when cooked too 🙂
What, oh I’ll have to try that out, I’ve just been eating them raw.
