Memories of an English Summer – Roses

Nothing probably epitomizes an english summer more than roses. Roses in all shades, hues and fragrances dot the myriad gardens around Britain. Here are a couple from my garden from 2012.

  1. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the roses were when I first saw English roses. They were beautiful – I even saw roses blooming in London in January once. I enjoyed seeing a little piece of your garden – I hope you will share more this summer.

    1. Thanks Pat!! Yes, we are a little obsessive about roses here in England :-), but in a good way. Hopefully if and when spring finally turns up in our part of the world, I will post more pictures of this seasons flowers..
